The Trust is interested in learning through our grantees’ successes as well as their challenges.

All grantees of the Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust are required to submit a report that confirms that the funds granted were used for the intended purpose.

For grants awarded in November 2020, the grant period is January 1 to December 31, 2021. It is expected that funds will be spent during this year. Reports are due by April 29, 2022. No future funding requests from 2020 grantees will be considered by the Trust until 2022 and until this report is received and approved. No progress reports are required. Late reports will be accepted after the April 29, 2022 deadline, however, those organizations will not be eligible to submit a new funding request in 2022.

For 2020 COVID-19 Response Grants, no report is required.

For grants awarded in November 2019, the grant period was January 1 to December 31, 2020. It is expected that funds were spent during that year. Reports are due by April 30, 2021. No future funding requests from 2019 grantees will be considered by the Trust until 2021 and until this report is received and approved. No progress reports are required. For projects delayed as a result of the pandemic, please contact Dr. Tom Daniel, Grants Director, at tdaniel@smithht.org to discuss adjustments to reporting deadlines.

For grants awarded in 2016, 2017, or 2018, in order to be eligible for consideration in 2020, a grant report for any previous grant(s) must be received by April 30, 2020.

  • Click on the My Account link at the top of this page to access the online grants portal, and log in with your username and password
  • If you are a new staff member at a grantee organization, and/or you do not have log in credentials to the Trust’s grants portal, click here to register for access.
